Poster Contest 2026

Theme: "Space Garden - Growing Food in Space"

Every year SUPARCO runs a national poster contest and carries the winning entries to the Asia-Pacific Regional Space Agency Forum. This year we're asking young artists across Pakistan to imagine how a garden might grow among the stars.

About the contest

SUPARCO invites students from schools across Pakistan to create a poster around this year's theme. The three best posters nationwide will be selected to represent Pakistan at the international APRSAF poster contest.

• Age group: 6-12 years, as of 31 Dec 2026
• Entries per school: Up to 3 posters, one student per poster
• Deadline: 1 September 2026 (strictly enforced)
• Winners: Top 3 posters go on to APRSAF

General instructions

• Open to children in the Asia-Pacific region aged 6 up to 12 years old as of 31 December 2026.
• A poster must be the work of a single student - no group entries.
• Students take part through their school; each school may submit up to three posters.
• Posters must reach SUPARCO by 1 September 2026, positively - deadlines are strictly followed and late posters cannot be included.
• All posters submitted become the property of SUPARCO.
• Winning posters are forwarded to the international APRSAF poster contest.
• The entry form must be filled in block letters, with no column left empty.
• Paste the fully completed submission form on the back of the poster.
• The front of the poster must carry no student details - no name, class, or school.
• Results are announced on the official SEAD Facebook page: facebook.com/SEAD.P.

Drawing rules

Allowed:

• Paper sized between A3 (297x420mm) minimum and A2 (420x594mm) maximum.
• Pencil, crayon, watercolour, oil paint, or computer drawing.
• A completed artwork that lies flat on a single sheet of paper.

Not allowed:

• Photos, wires, or any other 3D objects attached to the poster.
• Any letters or words within the drawing itself.
• Depictions of a specific individual, organisation, country, brand, or logo.
• Religious themes of any kind.
• Painter's signatures, national flags, country names or abbreviations, or space agency names.

Artwork that breaks any of these rules may be disqualified from the voting process for the poster awards.

Poster entry submission

Post the completed entry form and poster together, before the deadline.

Submission closes: 1 September 2026. Posters received after this date cannot be included in the competition.

Violation of the rules leads to disqualification. All posters submitted for the competition become the property of SUPARCO.
